Weekly Recap at Capelli!

There is a lot going on this week at Capelli! As the school year starts we are making big changes and chopping off a lot of hair for back to school.

We also added more strands to a few loyal clients who were interested in Great Length Extensions. And their transformations were phenomenal to say the least.

Stacy decided it was time for a little less bob and a lot more hair action!
She wanted more length and more fullness and her desired result was achieved!

Stephanie already has full thick hair, but she wanted to add length for her upcoming Vegas trip and festivities for the fall! This drastic change took Stephanie from blondie to bombshell!

dont buy your professional products where you buy your frozen pizza.

One of my recent discoveries has been the fact that grocery stores, beauty stores, and chain stores like Target and Wal-Mart have a section that says "Professional Hair Care." (No, I have not been living under a rock, just a recent discovery) And by no means am I bashing any of these fine establishments...especially Target, because I love me some Target, BUT I may be the bearer of bad news for those of you who purchase your "Professional Products" at these places. So here it goes, brace yourselves...

The problem with big chains selling bootleg beauty products is that they are not authorized to carry and sell these products and this is called diversion. I'm not talking products like Pantene and Treseme, but lets be honest...I am specifically talking about Paul Mitchell products.  What most likely happens in these situations is a little thing called the "black market" purchases these products from a legit distributor, stores them in a big ol' warehouse, while they twiddle their thumbs and wait for the product's barcodes to expire this way the products cannot be traced. The problem with this is not only does the barcode expire but the product inside does too.

One of the biggest things to look for is a double barcode. If you browse any Ulta, Target, or chain store that sells professional hair care...you may not see any difference in the general appearance of the product, but if you take a closer look look at the original barcode, it is most likely covered with a barcode placed there by the store that you shouldn't be purchasing it from ;)

Yup, Shady. That's when ya know!

Check out their prices (left) compared to our prices (right)

Most people think they are getting a better deal by cheating on Capelli and buying what they think is the real thing at a store, but hey...facts are there. BINGO! We win :)

Lets all save ourselves some monies and do ourselves a favor and not be fooled by the bologna of buying products at a store, make a little trip to us and get the goods...the real deal.

P.S. Just don't buy your hair products the same place you buy your frozen pizza ;)
